Here’s my tactic: I generally only bet on 2-way bets (i.e. baseball, basketball, tennis or even ‘who will score the next goal’), as the risk is too high for me with 3-way bets.

Lately I have been betting on ‘Who will score the first goal’ in football matches. I bet on the underdogs, who usually have odds of around 2.0-2.5.

If you then make a 2 out of 3 system bet (2 risk-goal bets and 1 safety bet, usually Bayern goal), you at least have your stake back if you get 2 correct, and if they all come up, then it’s ringing in the till =)
