I mostly bet in European football leagues I then choose about 5 games (odds approx. 1.4-2.8) where I always bet on the winner (never draw).

I then bet about 1 euro on the 5 games (combo), then 1.50 euros on 4 games (the game with the highest odds comes off), then 2.00 euros on the 3 games with the lowest odds. In addition, I make a single bet on each game with 50 cents or 1 euro. If you get a lot right, you cash in well.

Mostly I win a lot of money with outsider tips on the 1st matchday of a season. Like on the first Bundesliga matchday in 2004/05, for example:
Dortmund-Wolfsburg
Lautern-Nuremberg

I bet on the outsiders (also combined) and cashed in.

Sometimes I also bet on outsiders in the UEFA Cup (on teams that not many people know) – e.g. 0.50 euros on a team with odds of 6.0 against a well-known team (best when this team is out of form)!

Lately, I’ve been looking more and more at odds and betting on a strong or medium-strong team playing away against a bad club (odds approx. 2-3). That means I can then have two out of three games wrong without losing.

Rarely I just try to bet on a horse at a horse race (not trotting) on the off chance (usually high odds). Once a horse (that I bet on) won with odds of 14.50.

If I have a bit more money in the account, I’ll try it with a (approx.) 20-Euro-single bet on a HOME team with odds of approx. 1.5-1.9.
