I would like to present you my strategy for ice hockey.
I pick the last three games of each team (and really the last three games and not the games of the last three matchdays because it can happen that a team plays a catch-up game or an early game of another matchday).
From these 3 games I take the number of goals scored by the respective team in the first period. The sum of these is divided by three and rounded down if necessary
I do this for each team and add up the values for each match. If I arrive at a number equal to or higher than three, it is quite likely that more than 1.5 goals will be scored in this match in the first period
