Hello guys!

I am also a bettor and have a few useful ideas for you.

I personally find those bets that take place outside of the normal league routine particularly interesting: Recently, for example, the Ronaldo vs. Zidane charity match was on the programme of many betting providers. In such matches, in which football greats like Zidane, Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Olliver Pocher 😉 play on the one hand, but also third-class kickers from Fortuna Düsseldorf on the other, it is impossible for the betting providers to identify a clear favourite in advance. Therefore, in this example, the odds for both teams were close to 2.8. You don’t have to have taken a maths course to realise that in this case it is worth betting an equal amount on both parties. In the event that there is no draw, you will have made a nice profit.
But certain long-term bets can also be very attractive. I myself don’t pay that much attention to the big European leagues, because the odds on a championship win by Lyon, Barcelona or Bayern are often so low that the risk of losing my money is too great for me personally. Instead, I tend to concentrate on fringe sports such as darts, billiards or, at the moment, various winter sports – skiing, ski jumping. In all these sports, the odds on the favourite to win a particular event vary between 2.5 and 4. If you do a little research beforehand to see which athlete is in top form shortly before the event you want to bet on (look out for results in past competitions!), you have a good chance of winning a little money with a tip.
